Julian Paras is a New Mexico native that has found his way back home. He studied at Arizona State University in Journalism and Mass Communications.

After receiving his degree, he worked as an Anchor/Reporter in Pocatello, Idaho, later moving on to report in Memphis, Tennessee. Julian took a small break from news working in the restaurant industry as a server and delivery driver for FedEx. Turns out he missed news.

He soon got a job working as a photographer for KOAT Action 7 News where he is now a Multimedia Journalist. He always looks forward to reporting stories that affect us every day in the Land of Enchantment.

You may see Paras at your local gym because he’s a gym rat half the time. Other hobbies include being a foodie, cooking, playing video games, reading, and playing guitar.
