Faith Egbuonu is a Los Angeleno originally from Nigeria. She joined the KOAT Action 7 News team as a reporter in August 2022.    Prior to KOAT-TV, Faith served as a news reporter and multimedia journalist in Southeast New Mexico. During her time there, she covered stories throughout the entire region-- both local and national. Furthermore, she served as a fill-in host and correspondent for a weekly lifestyle program.    Faith got her start in television as a camera operator. Then, was later promoted to floor director where she directed the morning and afternoon newscasts.    She graduated with a degree in Journalism and minor in Marketing from California State University Dominguez Hills.   Faith believes these are two key components in the power of journalism, integrity and fairness. She is grateful to be given the opportunity to share stories of the New Mexico community.
