Did you ever want to hug a bear? Well, the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish is hiring professional huggers. The job posting by the department on social media says applicants must have the ability to hike in strenuous conditions and have the courage to crawl into a bear den, although the department doesn't recommend crawling into bear dens.The bear hugging by officers was conducted as part of a research project. While the job post is lighthearted, the department is not looking for actual bear huggers, they are looking for conservation officers.
